Great look, tasted great. Service very helpful and still "relaxed". We liked it. Eight bowling troops will definitely come back. And 40 years ago, as a DAK office, these rooms didn't look as bright and friendly as they do today. Did you do well ... 👌👏👍
Good kitchen with great service. Something different, fresh and tasty. Arabic cuisine, great starters and all at fair prices Thank you
Looking for a vegetarian / vegan offer, we found this great cozy restaurant with great food and very friendly and attentive staff. The cocktails are also recommended. There's really nothing to complain about here. For all fans of Arabic cuisine and for all who want to become one. Dare and you will be rewarded! Highly deserved 5 stars.
Super local! Had nothing to complain about. Anyone who has something to complain about here is looking for the proverbial "fly in the ointment" and will not find it! Great atmosphere, nice dishes, great team and just a great evening with culinary highlights. Always my pleasure. In our opinion, 150% recommendation 👍👍👍.
I was there for the first time today because I'm from Berlin. The Carthago simply great. Nice service, delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. When I'm around again, I'll be happy to come back.
A friendly, nice service, you are served quickly, you hardly have ordered, the food is already on the table. Everything is clean and tidy. I can only recommend it
A divine, good kitchen. For this reason alone, it is worth coming to Bad Wildungen!
We agreed on the menu with the boss in advance. The implementation was perfect. We had a perfectly prepared 3-course menu. Service and quality are very high, price / performance is more than good. We would love to come back.
Impeccable food, we were so pleasantly surprised. The meat was spot on. There was nothing to complain about. Just like the service. Wish that you can keep this level. We'll be back as soon as we're in the area. 👍👍 Unfortunately we forgot to take photos because the plates were beautifully decorated.
From the warm welcome by the owner, to the friendly and accurate service, to the fantastic drinks and food. We felt like welcome guests all around. Bread and dips were fresh and perfect to start with. The lamb dishes with an Arabic touch were really great in terms of meat quality and the skill of the kitchen (thyme port wine jus !!!). A mocha at the end was the perfect way to end the meal. Unfortunately, we only had the opportunity to visit the Carthago on the penultimate day in BW. Don't make the same mistake. We will be guests again when the opportunity arises.
Exceptionally delicious food for guests who like something special. There were four of us here and we were all thrilled. Not a cheap home in terms of price, but the quality is right.
It inconspicuously takes guests to North Africa with culinary delights. The service is attentive but reserved and old school. The prices are fair. The mood is good. The stomach is full. Hannibal would have eaten here if he had been to Bad Wildungen for a cure.
We hadn't made a reservation, but were welcomed and served very nicely. On the first evening we ate our way through almost all of the starters and were completely thrilled. We then reserved a table again for the next evening and ordered something else from the menu. The way of cooking and serving the exotic dishes is second to none. We are thrilled and will be back !! The next appointment is made. Greetings from Lübeck!
That can be told quickly: Service great, food even better!
We also found this restaurant because you can only endure a limited number of bistro visits on or around the Edersee ... at some point you want to eat "properly" again ;-) Extensive research on Google Maps then led us to the Carthago restaurant in Bad Wildungen. To come to the point: It was worth every kilometer and every euro. Starting with a short telephone request as to whether there would still be space for 4 people (which apparently is a real challenge for gastronomy in Waldeck and the surrounding area) and a 15km long journey, finding a parking space near the restaurant and the remaining 50m walk was quick done. At first glance, we were a bit skeptical because, in contrast to the establishment directly next to it, the outer tables were in front of the restaurant without any guest. After we had announced inside that we would like to sit outside, we were told that rain would be expected soon and then there might not be a free indoor table ... so we stayed inside (it didn't rain then). The ambience is rather rustic, with plastering on brickwork. We were welcomed in a friendly manner and shown to a table. After we settled down, drink requests were immediately recorded and the menus presented. The offer is oriental / Arabic (well, whatever else) and looked quite extensive (although it was my first visit to an Arabic restaurant and I cannot compare it). As a starter there was one bruschetta and one kibeh Mehliye (deep-fried meatballs), the main course was the fried chicken strips and the carthage platter. While the bruschetta was a little over-seasoned, the meatballs and both main courses were perfect. The meat cooked to the point, tender and well seasoned. The portions were good to generous, depending on your own capacity ;-). The service was very attentive, but unobtrusive. It is definitely worth a visit here. The prices are a bit high, but it's not a snack and all in all the price is absolutely justified.
An absolute taste experience! We have never eaten Lebanese so well. We were there shortly after they opened, which was also good. Everything outside was occupied within 10 minutes. Very friendly and committed staff. An absolute pearl. We will come here more often
We love to eat here. The service is super nice and friendly, the food is really fresh and very tasty. Every request is dealt with immediately. It's always totally relaxing. Stay as you are.
Top 👍👍👍 very tasty dishes, well prepared. Hard-working friendly staff. Very, very cozy atmosphere. 😍😍😍
By far the best Arabic restaurant in the whole area! Super nice staff, very clean, sufficient portions and the entire team with ❤. Highly recommended.
Really good
Top 👍
Delicious food and great service. Our group of six really enjoyed our dinner.
In Carthago you can eat very well! We have been there three times, have been served very well each time and were very pleased with the food. Even if something did not work out so well, they take care of a solution there - I have experienced that quite differently. A telephone reservation is certainly helpful, even if on the first night - with a bit of luck - we got a good table without prior reservation. The wine recommendation of a Lebanese red wine we liked very much - you can rely on the recommendation, even if you have chosen another one from the map. At least we did not regret it.
Very nice restaurant, great ambiance. Wonderful food and hospitable staff. Absolutely fantastic.
